Save the Date Exemption Presentation

The City of Salem is hosting an Exemption Presentation at the Jean A. Levesque Community Life Center, 401 Bridge St. Salem, MA 01970 on Thursday, September 12^th, 2024 at 10:00AM – 12:00PM

A Personal Exemptions Clause granted is essentially a discount (or a deferral) on a residential tax bill. They are offered to the following qualified homeowners who fall under the following personal status:

● Service-connected & honorably discharged disabled veterans and spouses ● Gold Star Parents/surviving spouses of fallen veterans/Police Officers/Fire Fighters killed in the line of duty ● Legally blind homeowners ● Income and Asset restricted Seniors 65 years and older ● CPA exemptions for Low-income seniors 60 years or older and low to moderate income persons of any age ● Senior tax exemptions for persons 65yo or older who received the Circuit Breaker Credit on their MA State tax return ● Tax Deferrals for persons 65 year or older ● Senior Work-Off Program
