Affordable Housing Lotteries

If you want to rent or own an Affordable home you will find listings here for open lotteries for these homes. This page will list open lotteries for cities and towns in Salem or surrounding areas within a ten-mile radius.  The price range for these homes “for sale” generally ranges from $175,000 to $275,000 and apartments rent typically from $1,300 per month and up (pending property location and size). These properties are sold or leased in conjunction with State-sponsored affordable housing programs and have income and asset limitations. Beverly-- Anchor Point II

Thirty-nine apartments will be available through this lottery. Apartments will be two- and three-bedroom with included utilities* (heat, A/C, electricity, water) and free on-site parking.

Homes will have tile bathrooms, large windows, wood-look vinyl plank floors, and new kitchen appliances. Card-operated laundry will be available on each floor.
There will be community gardens, a community room for (parties, meetings and small gatherings), private patios/entrances (some units), a playground, fields and splash pad for water play.
Anchor Point is close to Beverly High School, downtown Beverly shops and restaurants, MBTA Commuter Rail Route 128.
*Resident responsible for phone, wi-fi, and cable.
Two-Bedroom Maximum Income Limits Apply at 60% AMI: 2 people $78,360; 3 people $88,140; 4 people $97,920.
Two-bedroom estimated maximum rent is $2,203.
Three-Bedroom Maximum Income Limits Apply at 60% AMI: 3 people $88,140; 4 people $97,920; 5 people $105,780; 6 people $113,640.
Three-bedroom estimated maximum rent is $2,546.
Public information sessions will be held August 13, 2024 at 10am and August 15, 2024 at 6pm on Zoom and in person at the Beverly Public Library 32 Essex St. Beverly MA. For more information call 978-922-1305
Deadline for completed applications is 4pm on November 15, 2024, and must be submitted in person to Harborlight Homes at 600 Cummings Center, STE 270-X, Beverly MA 01915. (Enter in door 170-X and go to 2nd floor); or if sending by mail, to P.O. Box 507 Beverly, MA 01915 with a postmarked date of November 15, 2024.
The Lottery will take place on December 19, 2024, at 6pm on Zoom and in-person at Beverly Public Library, 32 Essex St, Beverly, MA 01915.
Following the lottery, we will have an open application period.
